Rug Wash & Repair Service
Bring your horse rugs in to store and we will send them away for a cleaning, reproofing and repairing service. With an approximate two-week turnaround time, make sure you bring them in with good timing if you know you’ll need them
We can also send away other equipment and dog beds – enquire in store for specific prices.
Sharpening Servicing
We offer a sharpening service for clipper blades, knives and scissors including hairdressing and grooming. We also service clippers and this is all done in store
Riding Hat & Body Protector Fitting
Many of our staff are fully trained in riding hat and body protector fitting. This service may take upwards of 30 minutes and requires a deposit of £10 which will be taken off the price of the fitted product you purchase from us.

Cotswold Canine Bowen Technique & Behaviour
The Canine Bowen Technique (CBT) is a light touch technique offering dogs a gentle, non-invasive and effective hands-on technique that aims to promote self-healing, pain-relief, energy rebalancing and the opportunity for the body to restore structural integrity.
It is a remedial soft-tissue technique where the light touch moves using fingers or thumb are offered over specific muscle, ligament, tendon and fascia.
Canine Bowen technique is a holistic technique bringing its attention to the body as a whole and in doing so the practitioner does not; treat symptoms, diagnose or treat the veterinary diagnosed disease or condition thus the technique is offered to the dog on how he is presented to the practitioner on the day of the session.
Canine Bowen Technique is not a substitute or replacement for normal veterinary care. With veterinary consent it can work alongside and compliment veterinary care and treatment.
Faecal Worm Egg Count & Worming Advice
Bring a sample of your horses droppings into the shop and we will test it on site and give you a positive or negative result via phone or email within 48 hours. The sample must be fresh – no more than 24 hours old and kept cool.
It is important to worm only when necessary, as using less drugs will slow down the inevitable resistance that develops from overuse of the worming products. The worm egg count test done on your horse’s dung sample will measure the number of worm eggs in the sample. This then gives us a good indication of how many active egg laying adult worms are in you horse’s gut.
